Cant Take Off

When I attempt to take off, get the revs to 3000-3500 then drop the clutch. The whole back of my car shakes, jerks, and jumps . Does anybody know what

Default Cant Take Off

When I attempt to take off, get the revs to 3000-3500 then drop the clutch. The whole back of my car shakes, jerks, and jumps . Does anybody know what this could be? Thanks guys
Also VDS is off

Try launching at a lower RPM

I used to try to launch a little over 3k as well but my car with it's worn tires would just "skip". So I feel like I know the feeling you're talking about. But I don't think that you are the only Z that does it. I'd say try running at a lower rpm and go from there

What you are experiencing is axle tramp caused a lack of mechanical sympathy.

Take you car back to the place where you purchased it and ask for your money back, or swap for an auto transmission.

Thank you for the help, is there anyway to fix this other than swapping to a manual transmission?

It's called axle tramp or wheel hop. The whole powertrain and drivetrain hated you with a passion during such a moment. Consequences are somewhat dire, including chipped teeth (in transmission and ring & pinion), snapped axle, CV/U-joint damage, bushing damage, etc.

Either you have a drivetrain problem or you don't know how to drive a manual. The way your questions and responses are worded, my guess is the latter. Find someone that knows how to use a clutch and see what they think.

This only happens at launching in low RPM's because when I take her to 5000-5500 and do a burnout it's flawless

Get some differential bushings. Helped eliminate a lot of the wheel hop I was getting in my car.

Putting some good tires will definitely help out a lot. Also the weather can affect the wheel hop tremendously. When is cold out and your tires are cold is a no-no scenario. On a 70-80 degree weather, with good warm tires there should not be a problem.

The solutions is: practice, practice and more practice.

Every car has a sweet spot for a proper (minimal wheel spin, maximum acceleration) launch. This is GREATLY influenced by tires, tire pressure, road surface, engine RPM and how quick the clutch is released.

Generally, lower engine RPM (around 3,000 RPM) with rapid BUT smooth clutch engagement, then nail the throttle should reduce wheel hop. If you do get a little wheel hop, push in the clutch just a little until it stops and release it.

Axle hop / wheel hop is VERY, VERY hard on the drivetrain. It is an easy way to break a CV joint.

Is the OP side steppin' the clutch pedal? Need to let the clutch out not so quickly. Keep doing what you have been doing, and you'll find driveline parts laying under the car.
