If you put the trans in a high gear such as 4th, 5th, or 6th, and floor it, does the engine rev faster than the car accelerates? That would be a slipping clutch and a sign that it is time to replace. Another problem could be oil on the clutch disc from a leaky slave cylinder. How does the bell housing look? Any oil leaking in there?
If I floor it in 4th gear the car takes off with no problem. It only seems like it happens in 1st and 2nd gear. I did not see any leaks and the fluids are full. I think the dealer is trying to rip me off. All service tech did was take the car for a drive and said the clutch was bad when he came back.
