I just encountered an ac issue I'm going to get looked at. I listened to the freon escape for about 20 minutes. Now I need to find where. I hope it's not the radiator/condenser. This would be number 2.

Check the seating of the O-ring on the pressure switch on top of the dryer tank of the condenser. Email me if you need to discuss anything ravidolwani@csfradiators.

Ok... So I think it's safe to say that with the puddle of coolant in my garage and my radiator making a ridiculous whining sound when the engine off that I have yet another radiator problem. This will be going on number 3 if it turns out to be the radiator again.

It definitely makes sense that they would send a replacement radiator, but I personally think they should at least own up to some or all of the labor cost...within reason of course. I'm going to have a mechanic look at mine. If it turns out to be the radiator that'll be the third time I'm paying for a replacement.

Hey guys noticed this thread after I posted mine. I have the option of either getting another CSF radiator to replace mine, or going back to stock (or some third choice? Not sure the Mishimoto's will work since I have the GTM TT kit).

Any positive experience opinions?

Bumping an old thread... I appear to be leaking refrigerant from the center of my condenser. All of the in/out connections of the condenser are dry. Have any of you see this before? I've had the radiator on my car for about 6 months. Here are some pics, including attempts at pics of the dry connectors:

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks,
James

Did you check the relief plug on drivers side at top of rad?theres a rubber gasket on the plug and the plug itself can come loose

Be very careful of those plugs. They have a tendency to break off after enough heat cycles.

Thanks guys, yes, the radiator itself is holding water just fine (checked both of those plugs and replaced the spring clamps on the rad hoses with worm clamps). It's the condenser that's leaking. That's refrigerant that's on the bottom there.
