Yes, you have to drop the rear differential again, then crack open the cover and swap the internal LSD out. You have to get the LSD shimmed and balanced. I

Yes, you have to drop the rear differential again, then crack open the cover and swap the internal LSD out. You have to get the LSD shimmed and balanced. I would leave the shimming to someone who knows how to.
Slop up as much oil as you can with throw away towels, then spray everywhere with the cleaner, whipe her down again and air dry for a little bit. Apply the gasket material onto the cover, make sure to go around the screw holes. Put the cover back on finger tight then let it dry for at least an hour before you go back and tighten everythign down with the wrench. YzGyz |
