Looking to purchase this but what proof do you have to back up your claims "Reduces or Eliminates the Concentric Slave Cylinder failures that are so common on these cars." on your website.

Would this potentially conflict with the zspeed hd csc or z1 csc elimination kit? can they be combined?

They will work fine together.

xdragus,
Absolutely they work together no problem. I would personally recommend the HD CSC though as it's a very high quality piece and combined with the RJM pedal it'd be a bullet proof setup. For me the Z1 kit is overly complicated, requires a lot of extra work to install and addresses the same problem the HD CSC does but at a much higher installed cost.

For the proof of the "Reduces or Eliminates the CSC failures" this has been discussed about 4 times in this thread already above but the basics of it is this. The primary cause of OEM CSC failures is over stroking the internal piston and blowing out the weak seals. This happens because the OEM pedal/CMC pushes too much fluid to the CSC which coincidentally also causes the very high pedal engagement and huge dead space at the bottom of the pedal. The RJM pedal thru manipulation of the pedal geometry reduces the excess stroking which isn't needed for complete disengagement. This saves the seals from all the extra wear pointlessly stroking back/forth and because the CSC is no longer being forced to the very end of it's travel every time you fully depress the clutch it reduces or eliminates the seal blow-outs that lead to catastrophic CSC failure. As well with the RJM pedal you'd see longer service life from the HD CSC or the Z1 Kit for the same reason that you're not stroking the seals excessively on every shift and increasing seal life.

Hope that helps explain things.

Best Regards,
Ryan@RJM

Ryan, I finally placed my order! Can't wait to feel the difference with this mod. Even if I have to relearn how to shift the car after making due with the current setup for 5+ years it should be worth the wait.

Just placed an order for this after reading through all 27 pages and everything on the RJM website. Can't wait, super excited for sure! I removed the clutch helper spring over a year ago and it was a huge improvement. However it is still tricky with that high engagement point. I hope this new pedal will be as good as it sounds, very excited.:D

I ordered one a couple weeks ago, super excited for it to get here!

Ryan, are there any updates on when the units will be available? I believe the site said 3/7, just wanted to see if we're still on track  I was #9 of 25 IIRC.

Hi Brancky3, Well I'm close;) The laser cutters were a day late finishing the raw CNC cut parts for me but I made the 4hr run down there and back this afternoon so we wouldn't loose another day waiting on a shipping courier to deliver them tomorrow. That let me begin fabrication this evening and I'm currently planning an all nighter to get 1 thru 10 done for shipment by tomorrow afternoon. From there 11-20 should be ready for shipment Friday and the remaining few on Monday.

Currently I have just QTY 2 units remaining available from this latest batch. If anyone wants to get in for one before they sell out again better place your orders thru the RJM webstore quick! Otherwise ETA is 2-3 weeks wait for the next run.

Best Regards,
Ryan@RJM
