Finally fed up with the stock clutch pedal.
RJM ordered.
My only complaint is the USPS being the only shipping option.
Ill leave more feedback once installed.

Order received, thank you. Your pedal unit will be shipping out Monday May 29th once the new batch of laser cut parts arrives in house to resume production. As soon as it ships you'll receive a tracking email with you shipment details.

As for lack of shipping options- I manufacture and sell these from Canada so cross border shipping with other carriers such as UPS/FedEx are double or triple the cost on average for International shipments and would require detailed shipping quotes to every address as they vary wildly from state to state and charge all sorts of BS charges on top like extra when it's a residential address vs a business, extra fuel surcharges for people a little further for the driver to reach, etc. So keeping it with Canada Post/ USPS flat rate shipping keeps things simple and the cost only varies a dollar or two between a shipment going to Michigan vs one going to California, Florida, Alaska or Hawahii.

Makes sense. Didn't realize it was shipping from Canada and I'm assuming you don't want the hassle of dealing with UPS or FedEx. Some people may be willing to pay the extra coin for a reliable delivery service though. I've just had bad experiences with USPS in the past.
Edit: bty. thank you for providing a solution for the jerky clutch engagement so i don't feel like a noob driving a standard

Just finished reading all 37 pages and very excited to install the pedal tomorrow.
Received my assembly one day ahead of scheduled delivery on Wednesday and can't wait to bust my back installing it tomorrow morning.
Haven't found a single bad comment from anyone on here.
Congrats and thanks in advance Ryan!:driving:

As long as you install it correctly and get it set how you like it by abiding by Ryan's instructions for tuning you'll be fine. If you have any problems Ryan is very quick and responsive. Great customer service!

I don't know how many people have thanked you for your efforts in designing & building this pedal assembly, but here's another "Thank You" Ryan from Minneapolis.
With a lot of help from my son in law Andy, we installed it in a little over 4 hrs. The difference from OEM is amazing, and not that the OEM pedal is difficult to use, but clutch engagement is so much smoother with RJM.
Only one very minor issue we had was inserting the clevis pins (HD or OEM) into the new assembly hole. The pin hole in this assembly was so tight we could not press the clevis pin through the hole. We recommend checking the fit while on the work bench. (We didn't think to check the fit while out of the car.) Andy took a narrow strip of fine grit sand paper (don't know the grit) and lightly sanded around the pin insertion end. With a little tapping I persuaded it into place. We followed the start up instructions at the end, took the Z for a test drive and all is working great. I could not be happier with my first mod.

MplsPete, you're very welcome and I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the new pedal now that you've got it installed. Sorry to hear the pin was on the right side though. When I press the bearing into AFP adjustment plate it tightens down a bit so I typically run a fine reamer thru each bearing after they get pressed in place so they are a perfect fit but I must have missed reaming that one when your unit was being built. So my apologies for any added difficulty with that.

Best Regards
Ryan@RJM

MplsPete 07-16-2017 11:59 AM

No worries. I appreciate the tolerance being tight and just needed a little adjustment. There isn't any slop with this connection.
I highly recommend this product and well worth the effort to get it installed. Thanks again.
Pete

Just bought one. #562
Hope this pairs well with my road race clutch and light flywheel from Z1. I've had it installed for a few weeks now to get used to it as is. Now time for the pedal.
