Help me install my amuse bumper correctly

Factory bumpers are urethane. No fitment issues because it is so pliable and soft.

I have the Shine rear and fitment is 99% perfect. I've been to Aero Jacket's install shop to get my fenders installed and there kits seem to have more issues.

I think we would all love 100% fitment out of the box, but at what price? I don't mind the few extra bucks in body work versus 1000's more for an almost perfect fit.
Now if they came painted and fit perfect..... That's another story!

A few extra buck at a shop can be hundreds even 1000+ at a body shop if the panel is garbage. Especially a full kit.

Most places you can't send back after you inspect and sign for them. That's been my experience. If your having troubles instating they will recommend a place for you.

That's why you it's very important to know a good fabricator

^^^^exactly! Mine was the same way. You must custom drill the holes. And then the 5 holes he was talking about are not round holes they are OEM punched square holes which are a bit$$ to custom make.

Yeah, was quoted $1650 for the nismo rear, install, and full car dip.

Did all the molding/sanding/shaping/drilling/bondo and then dipped my car..
Its all in my build thread. But I ended up installing the rear and adding SL front lip, full car dip, and a couple other things.. Ended up spending $700 something.

Saved a TON of $$$ and researched and did it myself. Heres a teaser. More photos in my build thread, also i made DIY so when you are ready to do it... you can have something to work off of.

Were you able to get the gap figured out? If you look at the pictures aerojacket posted up for his kit there are gaps in the same area as well.

It seems every FRP product requires a little massaging.
Here's mine at the shop this week. Looks a lot worse than it is! But these are really just minor issues. Mostly dealing with fitment at the fenders and quarter panels.







And finally, primed and ready for finishing.

The hood is a jpr triple vented model from extreme dimensions.

The wheels are just my winter storage tires lol
