Ok I figured out some steps this diy is missing. The shifter cup where the spring sits and the pivot ball need to be greased a lot with white lithium

Ok I figured out some steps this diy is missing. The shifter cup where the spring sits and the pivot ball need to be greased a lot with white lithium grease. Also, the stock shifter plate needs to be installed over the red plate And when you install the stock shifter plate over the red one and adjust it correctly, you won't over shoot 5th and 6th. It's what I had to do on my G37. It shifts beautifully.
