Is the noise of a constant frequency or does it vary with engine speed? If it varies with engine speed, that would lead me to believe that your wiring is

Is the noise of a constant frequency or does it vary with engine speed? If it varies with engine speed, that would lead me to believe that your wiring is picking up interference from the alternator/charging circuit. Re-routing the wires and/or moving the control module may help.
