 This is what I did when I had a 7AT. Since shedding my skirt in favor of some rhino skin and Kevlar Carhartts, I correspondingly gave up the 7AT for a 6MT and had to relocate the knob of much thumpness. All joking aside, very good idea and great execution. |

Excellent idea. I'll add this to my weekend to-do list.
That will also make it the perfect place to mount a phone holder, which I've been contemplating the best way to do it. And I think this is it!  Appreciate the DIY
