DIY: of complete FOG LAMP install

I have a question...I looked under my car and saw that there is a grey plug right next to where the fog lamp would go. Does anyone know why that

Does anyone know why that plug is there? Did they put it there for 2010 so it wouldnt be a pain in the *** to install a rear fog?
