tinting/night shade brake lights

Are there any good DIY's for tinting tail lights? I looked but couldn't find anything specific on taillights. I'm looking for something that can be reversed if necessary.

I got mine done at a shop for around 160, and they are removable if I need to, check my profile for pics.

If you want removable go with either the GTS covers above or a film tinted tail... nightshades will not be removable.

you can remove nightshade somewhat... takes alot of polishing though. On that note, i would go with Tint, or some type of cover as nightshade isn't reversible in any short time.

Which would look best on a 40th? GTS covers or tint?

I had a vinyl/tint shop try to do mine. They couldn't do to some of the angles on the lights. I've read a few other accounts of tinted lights that have bubbled, so you probably want them painted or the removable plastic covers.

I had them done with tint,it all depends how much patience and care the tint person takes with their time. Most tint shops dont tint taillights, but I was lucky to find one that did. They used a more durable thicker tint to do so. No bubbles or anything on mine so far, it has actually held pretty good for the last 4 months.
