Gradient tinting on tail lights

Out of sheer boredom I quickly played with this in photoshop, It's probably been done but I wouldn't know any better. Gradient tinting on tail lights?

I have never seen that before, for sure a cool concept, just not sure if i would do it on my car.

i think black and red would be the only cars that'd work on.

I got black

But I think tail tint is illegal in my state of New Jersey, but I'm going for it anyways..screw it. Give me a ticket..I've had numerous tickets from window tint on previous cars

hummm...i kinda like it without or with the consistent tint.

reason is it looks like it faded in the sun or something werd going on.
