Are we still doing Red Line 5W30 (6 quarts) and Purolator PureONE PL14610 oil filter?

Or is somebody using something else that might be better?

Thanks in advance

I don't know if I would call it a preference, but I always use Mobil 1 synthetic and a K&N Filter.

great choices...Im using the Purolator PSL 14610,,its an upgrade from PL, supposed to be for synthetic oils,,no problems yet...none of the major parts places have it but I found it at KMART of all places $8.95.

I was using Red Line and am switching to Mobil 1 on my next change.

I use K&N filters.

This oil filter is designed to fit the GTR but also fits the 370 and is longer than the one specified for the 370.

Awesome, thanks for the links. You never had a leaking problem with this particular K&N oil filter? Just asking cause under the reviews it seemed to be prevalent

I have been using K&N filters on numerous cars for more than 25 years and never had a problem. I abuse my cars also.

By the way -- do not forget to replace the crush washer on the drain plug.

I use Mobil 0-40 and a Mobil filter. The 0-40 is a pure ester based oil. At least that what I was told. YMMV.

You do not have to remove the entire belly pan. Just take out the four bolts at the REAR of the belly pan. Take a bundgy cord and hook one of the belly pan screws holes and bend the panel of the belly pan forward (fold it) hook the other end of the bundgy cord to the front of the car. The pan was made to do this so you won't hurt a thing. Try it, it makes for a quick oil change.
