Just finished installing this. Write Up made it really easy. I took my time so it took a couple hours. Hardest parts for me were removing the bolt from the bottom of the linkage and removing the white cup from the stock shifter.
I found that pulling down on the shifter from under the car (ie compress the spring like when reversing) it made it more accessible to get the socket on the bolt head. To remove the white cup I found that adding new grease made it come off easier. Funny enough getting the dust boot back on was the easiest part of this install and took me 30 seconds. The key is starting from the front and using two hands to pull around on both sides. Haven't driven it yet so I cannot comment on that.
