MY1STZ Base Member Join Date: Sep 2010 Location: Washington State Posts: 95 Drives: 2009 370Z W 7Spauto Rep Power: 16	Doing my own diy hood lift strut I called the Nissan Customer Service and "whined"/ complained about the that stupid $2 hood prop that has distorted my hood alignment . I think it is the #1 must do/have mod on this car. I have checked out this forum's DIY for the hood lift strut and I've decided to make my own that requires no drilling, cutting or grinding. I'm making my own brackets from 16 ga stainless steel. Thanks to the Modshack for your DIY for this mod. Will post pics when completed.
