Great write up. Can't wait to get mine later this year. One question though. Now that the bumper is back on, how tough will it be to change the filters?

You'll have to remove the bumper again to clean the filters...

Looks like a lot of work for sub minimal gains. How much hp does this produce over K&N drop in filters?

Lots of sources indicate 10+WHP. Who knows. People have anecdotal responses stating greater throttle response/low end response than before. If you think this is a lot of work then get someone to do it for you. Or just don't bother get any and go all out with FI!

Can't say if it'll be better than drop-ins or not.

Air is feed thru the air ducts on the sides of the radiator.

Interesting so would I be slightly accurate in stating that this element of the system is somewhat restricted?

In all honesty I was inspecting my stock air filters earlier on and couldn't see where the inlet to feed the outside air was. I originally was looking under the bumper and grill area to no avail.
Im sure Nissan didn't do that for a reason. Perhaps hydrolocking who knows.

Great write up! I've got 2 quick (noob) questions, though.

When removing the strut bar, do you need to do anything underneath, in the wheel-well area, or does everything just unbolt from the top?

What all makes the install different for the NISMO models?

Hey Swiss nothing needs to be done underneath, in the wheel-well area, everthing is just unbolted and bolted back up from the top.
