So does the vehicle come with a cabin air filter already installed? Also will you be able to tell a difference if I replace it with one that is charcoal activated?

2009's and early 2010's I believe did not come with one. Every car since then does come with one from the factory.

I can't smell any outside odors or smells while running the A/C, I have to say yes... it's working. Because when running windows down, you can smell all of the "fields" in the local area.
