DIY: Adding In-Cabin air filter to the 370Z

Does the air filter only filter recycled air in the cabin? I never use that option and just use air straight from outside.

I'm pretty sure it filters all air. I hope so - I had my filter installed to cut down on the tree pollen that is so bad around here.

FWIW, you can see the filter from the battery compartment (noticed this when I removed EPDM to get to SLU fuse). Q&D way to check it.

I did my cab filter today, it was easy. after 30,000 miles you can see the importance of replacing the cab filter.

20130325_204436.jpg As you can see,old vs new. Plus the new filter comes with foam pads on the ends for a snug fitment.
