Thanks guys...like I said I have only changed the oil in this car once a year ago and I thought I remembered the access door being fairly tight...seemed the oil

Thanks guys...like I said I have only changed the oil in this car once a year ago and I thought I remembered the access door being fairly tight...seemed the oil might get all over the plastic cover...anyways I'm probably wrong but thanks again for the help

yeah... that under cover plastic flap can get in the way. after removing the 4 10mm bolts, you can simply fold it forward and use something to hold it in place. you can get to both the drain bolt and oil filter without getting oil on the under cover flap.
just be safe when jacking up the car. Quote:
