Where to buy porter cable now?

Hey, I've been wanting to purchase a porter cable orbital buffer for a while now -- however, all links that I've seen people post on here, are for Adams website.

Anyone have any other recommendations for the best place to buy this? The thing that I liked about Adams is that they sold everything you would need in one kit.

Thanks!

Got mine from Autogeek.net. they're usually running some kind of special so sign up for emails and wait for 15% off code.

Have you thought about getting a Flex instead? It's so much faster to get work done vs a porter cable. And with the right pads and polishers its a lot harder to burn through the paint then people make it out to be. You'd have to push pretty hard in a single place with a very aggressive pad and compound to burn through. So unless you fall asleep on your Flex while its on your car it's not gonna happen.

I got mine from auto geek and my polishes and pads from Adams. I love it. Anytime a friend buys a new or used car they always bring it buy so we can make it look perfect. Works great!

Adam's quit carrying them because they're made in China now.

Ditto on the Flex. Wish I had bought that instead of the one that I bought.

You can Harbor Freight a fake PC for $60~
It's almost the exact same, maybe a bit louder

EDIT: I like mine, and I'd get the 2 year warranty as well

Holy Jeezus, I thought PCs were too expensive for what you're getting. Flex's are TWICE the price, if not more... F that.

I like the idea of the forced rotation. Definitely pricey though.

It's worth it IMO. I have three cars and detail each twice a year. The flex does it in half the time. I can wash, clay bar, use the flex for 3-4 passes on the whole car, wash again, glaze and the wax the car all in one day.

With my old porter cable is used to have to do the washing and clay Friday night, spend 6+ hours on the portercable Saturday, then do the rewash, glaze and polish on Sunday. It ate up my entire weekend cause you can't drive the car once you start until you re-wax.

When I spread the cost difference out vs the amount of time I saved the Flex paid for itself in the first year. I've had it three years now. Would never go back!
