I don't wax my wheels unless they're painted. so no for the stock 19's. I usually use the leftover car wash soap but just recently got Sonax wheel cleaner and it seems to work pretty good with a soft brush. For tires I use a hard bristle brush to clean and once again I use leftover car wash soap/water. Then I let it full airdry before applying tire dressing hope this helps.

Thanks for the recommendations. I'll check out the Sonax wheel cleaner.

they are painted... a clearcoat I consider painted anyway...

Blackfire wet diamond is SUPER slick, if anyone has ever used it and then seen it rain... it's like the car doesn't even get wet it's so slick ... cool to watch actually.

For wheels I have had a lot of pro detailers tell me to use the FinishKare 1000p because it's high temp, well it says wax, but it's much more like a sealant. It's not quite as slick, but it's good up to 250 degrees and on wheels that's always a plus right?

I'm sure others may tell you differently, but I also have tried the Armor All wheel protectant that you just spray on and then you just leave it, brake dust slides off quite easily and you will find you won't have to clean your wheels as often. I used it on my old Evo X wheels and they stayed clean and I don't know if any of you have owned an Evo or just had to clean one, but the X has A LOT of spokes and has A TON of brake dust... I love having wheels with only 5 spokes.. I have literally taken 2 hours just to clean my wheels.
