Headlight spray cleaner

What do you guys recommend for wiping down the plastic headlights? Apparently Invisible Glass isn't recommended, and I'm guessing anything amonia related would be bad bad bad. Simple green? Soap

Is there a product specfically for headlights? Google points to dozens of buffing compunds but no clear winners for a simple cleaning.

Meguiar's UQD (Ultimate Quik Detailer) works real well. Works on windows as well. Stuff is the bomb!

If you already have a Clearbra installed on your car, you should just get Plexus and use it on your headlights as well.

Soap and water for general cleaning, detail spray or waterless wash for in between clean up, and you can use our Clear Polish for correcting any light haze or yellowing.

I'm a big fan of that stuff, actually. Didn't think you could use it on headlights too, but now that you mention it, I don't see why you couldn't.

Thanks!

Sure thing.

It won't leave any residue or haziness if you wipe it off good. I like using it on everything for the hydrophobic polymer technology (TM).

No matter what I use to wipe it off, I always have swirl marks, and residue.

I know this is an old post, but why isn't Invisible glass recommended? I use it all the time to take off bugs from the headlights and front bumper (clear bra) for the past 2 summers and havent had a problem..

Wash your headlamps first. If you notice any hazing and/or yellowing, use Adam's Swirl & Haze Remover Polish. If the plastics are in good condition, use Plexus to maintain them. I usually spray into the microfiber cloth then work it onto the plastic to avoid overspray on paint panels.
