I hate winter so much.......... what was that feeling like to walk around with a t shirt only? and drive with the windows down in a freshly 3 hour washed shiny new Z?

Nope.

I run Michelin winter tires on my DD's. Blizzak is also good. Size, not sure, you'll need to talk to a tire place. I know Kevin at RimRim Canada has, or had, a lot of winter tires. Maybe give them a call. I haven't used their services so I can't comment on their pricing or service.

If you decide you want to drive your Z in winter, make sure to get narrow winter tires and wheels. I have 235/45/18 on 18x8 square setup. That point your wonderful Z will look like a Chinese diy home made wide body kit with tiny wheels. To fix that, you'll need spacers, really big ones lol. If you need more info, send me a PM

Yep track wheels for me too. I got these ones, lots of room for the sport brakes.

its going to be the 4th winter i am driving my Z. I am 1.5" lower then stock and i run 225/50/18 on front and 245/45/18 in the back. I am yet to get stuck with it. A tip for driving in the snow: turn off the VDC. Even though i have driven in deeper i would stay home if theres more than 15cm on the streets if i were you.

Old but good tip: Put heavy stuff in your trunk. Bags of salt, soil, etc. Helps out with traction.

i saw a red z out on this weekend by tnt at warden/steeles. then a m4. i shook my head those poor poor salt rocked cars.

i think the car was red... or maybe it was white and bleeding from the salt. who knows :S

I drove mine in the winter on Blizzak LM-60's. It's fun! But the salt will ruin the car fast

I have winter tires on the car but I don't drive it in the winter. Only reason I got winter tires was so I can drive the car to shops on certain days over winter to get everything ready for summer rather than tow her everywhere. I run a square setup 255/35/19 (oem rays were spares so I made them winter rims). Technically, they are smaller then my summer setup, I run 275/305 summers.

I started driving mine this winter and its no problem with the snow tires on. Just got to be aware of the big piles left by the plows at on ramps and driveways becasue with 4" of clearance I cant get through those.

For the first few years I was trying to save it from winter but with the price of the older used ones (mines a 2010) dropping so fast I dont care to save it anymore. Once It gets ragged I will just trade it on something else and wont mind losing a couple hundred bucks compared to one that hasnt been winter driven.

Most cars built these days are pretty good at fighting off rust (not mazdas), my neighbour has a Porsche GT3 that he drives through winter and it still looks jsut as great every summer.
