Retail price is at least 40k before taxes. After taxes it's almost 50k. That's a lot of dough for a car considering the average annual income is 40k or so. Not to mention it's not a very practical car, 2 seats, no trunk, etc. Also, only rwd, so not the easiest car to drive in winter.
