The auto guys will definitely have problems.
Not a problem at all. The amount of air going between the exhaust and the transmission will remove any heat before it reaches the transmission case. The picture are a bit deceiving as well. Not as much piping "wraped" around as it looks.

This is the kind of kit you need to have mounted on a carousel at a carshow! Pure art!!

Drooool! Man im so happy to see Boosted Performance doing a 370 kit. I followed the build threads on "the other forum" and was amazed at the attention to detail and response to feedback.

Guys I can assure you that Sasha will strive to make this the best kit out there as far as forced induction goes on the 370. Not to mention he is a stand up guy when it comes to customer service. All of the 350z guys with the Boosted Performance kit will agree with me. I was wanting to buy that kit when I paid my 350 off, however 3 weeks after I paid it off it got totaled. So this is awesome news!

Im definitely looking forward to the 370z build thread with this kit!

The 370 arrived last night, and the build will begin in the next day or two. I am still waiting on the turbo to come in...a big screw-up up Precision on that one....but it will be here on Monday.

At a glance, I noticed that the starter on the 370 is on the driver side. I did not know that, and the charge piping from the turbo to intercooler will have to be routed a bit different than what you have seen in this thread. Other than that things are looking good.

Sasha, do you have a rough idea of what the pricing will look like on this kit?

At the moment I do have a rough idea, but will keep that to myself. The kit will be superior in quality to what is out there now (STS, and custom kit available). It will also come with an oil cooler since it is a must with these cars. The intercooler will be large, and capable of supporting a lot of power. Turbos will be Billet wheel, the scavenge pump will the best you can buy...ect.

I understand...

Also forgot to mention that the standard fuel pump will be 340lph and not the 255lph that comes with every other kit. The standard injectors will also be large, 750cc vs 600cc that others offer.

This kit is build for a stock block, with the ability to support big power for those that choose to go with forged internals and want to push things further.

will there be more turbo options in the future? Like turbos that don't use the oil.

you might as well put me on the list now!

what will the exhaust options be? i'm assuming the mid-pipe back will need to be custom-fitted to the kit, or will any system work?

The down pipe will bolt up to the OEM exhaust, just before it slits in to two pipes. It will also bolt up to a F.I exhaust since this is what the donor car has. So a F.I exhaust and any exhaust that would bolt up to the exit of the OEM Y-pipe will work just fine.
