I had a hard time getting out of my parking lot, then got stock at the base gym, couldnt get traction on the road at all. Now since i couldnt find any steelies that fit our cars. I bought new winter tires Dunlop Snow/Ice Tire, cost me $1500 but worth it. Although i find until i get cruising that the VDC is dangerous as **** to use. I'll either be accelerating at a decent pase or coming around a turn at a decent speed and the thing will kick in and it will cause me to either start a small fish tail or just go ape ****.

I keep forgetting to buy a extention cord so i havent plugged the block heater in and with this -30*C weather it takes awhile for the car to heat up. Plus the clutch and shifter are stiff as ****.
Your car has a block heater?
was it an option you paid for?

Mine has one. Factory unit, cost included in my price. I really didn't want one and I'm going to be removing it.

A block heater? It, um, heats the block.

thank you smart ***..lol. I know that much, but does it keep both coolant and oil warm? Does it help your heater to warm up the passenger compartment faster? Like i said, my old car never had it so i never know of it.

Sorry I could not resist. Let's just say it keeps the coolant and oil warm(er). Don't expect a bunch of difference in the passenger compartment. But the heater will be pumping hot air a wee bit sooner. I still foresee freezing of some ***. You have heated seats?

This is quite frankly the first I've heard of a non-diesel with a block heater. But Ima from a more temperate zone.
