Default ABS Ice Mode

So I learned something new about the Z's ABS system this week at Nationals. I have a 275 ZII square setup on my Z. I'm also running Hawk HP+ pads on all 4 corners. I noticed that I had issues with what I learned is "Ice Mode" from Jeff Stuart. The pads are so aggressive with the grip that the ABS thinks it's on ice and reduces braking force to like 10-20%

Has anyone else experienced this and for stock class in autocross is oem pads the best options?

Congrats to Jeff Stuart on the win, very fun experience.

Try running less aggressive pads in the rear. I run carbotech xp10's in the front and xp8's in the rear. I also run a square tire setup for AX fwiw .

I was thinking of just switching back to oem pads since that seems to be what everyone at Nationals was running anyways or maybe just leaving the rears in and changing the fronts back to oem. I haven't decided yet.

That's the opposite of what you want to do. I've mode will be even worse!

best way to solve the problem. i tried some 'other ideas' on my 350Z and ended up wrecking because it didn't solve problem (new hubs, less aggresive pads)

Megan did it easy I think. Just have to buy the right proportional value and get the balls to do it.
