I don't get it, everywhere I check the bolts are installed in what holds the springs in( spring bucket)

what's circled
by drilling or dremeling out the old bolt holes.

none of that was done on my car, where the square plates are is where they were installed and that's a different location.


shouldn't it go here like the DIY says it should?
