Default brake buying order

So what is the order for modifying 1st- type or size of rotor, brake pads, calipers, or good tires. Will Akebono calipers fit on OEM 18 rim's? Who is driving with slotted and drilled rotors (OVERKILL)? I had them on my 300zx and had no problems as DD. Just try to do some pre-research and just looking for better than stock stopping. THANKS

if ure wanting to get bbk, just get the bbk and grippier tires.

if you dont want to spend that kind of money (or want to make up some lame excuse you want to
maintain larger selection of aftermarket wheelz ), id get better pads and grippier tires.

Akebono calipers should clear stock 18's.
I would say that if your current tires are ok, go with calipers, rotors, pads and lines. Won't go into slotted vs drilled, but I prefer slotted. If your tires are worn out, then the answer is obvious. jajajaja
