Front or rear? Also, like the user said above, hollow isn't a factor but more of a benefit of less weight. Stiffness is more of a issue. It might just come down to price and ease of install. It's weird that all it takes is an extra hold notched into the bar to be called adjustable but sometimes it's the little things.
