Changing brake pads is arguably the easiest "major" job on a car. If you've done any wrench turning before, you should be able to handle it.
While all disc brakes are basically the same, the details can trip you up if you are not prepared (eg, shims, indexing pins, clips). Make sure you have any "special" tools available (eg, something to compress the piston, if needed). Review the 370Z-specific DIYs, ask questions before you start, and it should be smooth sailing.
