Just checked my brake fluid reservoir to see how it looked (black or gross, etc.) and its blue.... Assuming this has been swapped by the previous owner for super blue,

Default Stock brake fluid color

Just checked my brake fluid reservoir to see how it looked (black or gross, etc.) and its blue....

Assuming this has been swapped by the previous owner for super blue, but just wanted to make sure that the stock fluid color on the Nismo isn't blue...

i've heard and read that racing application brake fluid for dd use is NOT good due to the fact that it is more succeptable to moisture buildup. Im not sure if this has been proven. I prefer valovline's synthetic blend personally.I don't personally own a nismo, but would most likely bet that no it isn't blue normally. I would take it to your dealer and explain to them that you want the factory oil in it and that you feel it could be a at risk car.

According to this that is not the case...

"DOT 3 and 4 based brake fluids are hydroscopic and will absorb and hold water and still function (although the water molecules lead to rust within the brake system). These are Poly-glycol based just like glycol-based antifreeze. Silicone-based fluids are non-hydroscopic meaning that they will not absorb or mix with water."

Most likely ATE SuperBlue. It will stain the reservoir for a few flushes too.
