Racing Brake rotor direction question

The direction of the slots is generally irrelevant, but given that your front and rear is from the same manufacturer and opposite then chances are one of the axle sets

The direction of the slots is generally irrelevant, but given that your front and rear is from the same manufacturer and opposite then chances are one of the axle sets is backward.

What you need to check is the direction of the cooling vanes in the center of the rotor. The vanes should be pointing backwards towards the rear of the car. You should be able to see this (or feel) without taking a wheel off.

The only negative effect from having it backwards is that the rotors won't cool as well since the air pump effect won't work as well.
