Motive Power Bleeder ...

... wondering if it matters what base unit I get as long as I get the 1107 Ford Adapter ? They have black label, red label, import ... searched and found out about the adapter part number (1107) but missed a part number on the actual bleeder unit.

Any assistance greatly appreciated.

any should work, as long as you have that cap.

Incidentally, the Ford cap doesn't work on my 2013 Mustang

My wife got a sore leg pumping those ones!

Thanks Mike. Man that is weird the Ford cap works on a Nissan, but not on a Ford LOL

These things work great. They make changing the fluid simple and fast. I agree that as long as you have the proper cap, you should be fine.

Ford Three Prong Bleeder 0107 ... not a bad deal $64 ... this one says it comes with the 1107 adapter

I already have the Ford adapter. I had no idea it would work on the Z also. Thanks for posting this. I have used the Motive on 2 other vehicles before and it really makes bleeding the brakes a breeze.

Dunno if you noticed but the manual specifically says not to use a pressure bleeder for the clutch...

I did not know, although people have used pressure bleeders in one way or another due to difficulty bleeding the clutch.

I found it pretty easy... my friend's leg was a little tired but it didn't take long to flush the old crap fluid.
