So you're saying the spacers with the built in bolts will work on the front too? Doesn't the stock bolt stick out too far and hit the back of the wheel when it's on?

Personally I think another 1/2 inch lower would be perfect, one reason I"m thinking of switching to coilovers. On the other hand I'm a bit concerned with scraping on speed bumps and driveways. As it stands now I rub the front chin spoiler and wheel wind deflectors quite a bit lately. The other night I scraped the exhaust pipes pretty good on this one driveway, even though I"m extremely careful and always go at an angle. I also notice some scrape marks on the flex pipes of my Nismo exhaust when I changed the oil a few weeks back.

i was afraid of that scraping already... which would get a lower drop the eibachs... or the tanabes? all i really want is an inch and 1/4 drop no lower.... is there any drop springs that just do a inch flat?

If you want just a minimum drop, go with the 2009 Nismo struts and springs. I don't know the exact drop, but most sites are saying 0.4inch or 10mm. They are a bit more expensive ($999 msrp) but if you do a search, you can get them for as low as $699 a set.

The drop is very good for a street use at just over 1.2" front and rear. I was actually nicely surprised that the drop was more then Eibach specifies. My front cross camber is -0.08 and the total toe 0.09 The rear left camber is -2.36 and right -2.43 That's the best we could get. I'm happy with the front but the rear camber is a bit too aggressive. I have been advised that the rear camber arms don't work and are a waste of money. Can anyone of you guys who has already fitted the rear camber arms let me know if they have worked for you and fixed the camber problem. Thanks. |

yes theres a huge difference in my opinion, check out the before after pics of my car..
as for camber adjustment.. i would highly recommend it.. the wheels will tilt outward a little bit, and you'll notice it after the install. Plus if you align it, it will push out the rear tires more to make the stance a tad bit wider. and heres a picture of my car with 20s with eibach drop after read camber alignment |
