I did an "arrive and drive" at the 2000 SCCA Solo II Nationals in a 1998 Acura Integra Type R that had won the National Championship the year before. It was prepared with re-worked shock absorbers, a wild alignment, different sized tires front and rear, a cat-back and any other thing that could be adjusted or modified and still stay within SCCA Stock class according to the rules! No more than a week, if that long. If you have driven it a couple times and the car has been allowed to sit for a little while between drives, they should be settled at that point.
