how could these springs raise your car??? makes no sense. even Mike said they didnt raise his Z...
Have no idea man. All I know is I am sitting at 28" even in the fronts and I was at 27.5" before. I guess the fronts are supposed to be 27.87" or something? So even with that I am still higher! Not cool if you ask me! It's llike drving a boat now! Maybe it's a vehicle specific tolerance issue. Not all cars are the same? But I wonder why I was sitting lower in the front to begin with...

as opposed to the total inability to adjust them (springs). If you want to 'just call it a day' coilovers are the way to go. you adjust them once or twice until you find your settings that you like, and then your good. if you dont like the spec-r's there is nothing you can do about it and then you're out another 300+install+allignment. I'm thinking, if you want to call it a day, you either go back to stock, or get a full new suspension set up (coilovers). not trying to criticize, but you seem kind of picky (i am too!) so you're gonna want your setup JUST how you want it, height, dampening etc. so go for coils. You can get BC BR's for like 1000.

the front of a nismo is no heavier than the front of a touring. the thicker sway bar and added weight of the front bumper will not pull down the springs the extra distance mentioned.....

ps dont cut them!

^^true its heavier but probly not enough to compress down to where he wants..maybe the lower perch on the nismo strut is lower?..id cut a coil off for the hell of it and see what happens..haha..

are you talking rear height or rear shock adjustment? The Tein Monoflex I wound up getting has shock adjustment from the rear wheelwell, the knob is on the side of the shock instead of the top, which makes it really easy to adjust. Other than that, any height adjustment should be about the same with any coilovers.

This goes back to my other post, and thoughts are that these are not s-tune springs. I don't see Nissan mentioning it anywhere. The 350Z Nismo production springs would lift your car as well (it did mine). While the s-tune springs do give it a slight drop and much stiffer ride.

I didn't bother cutting them. It's not a good idea anyway.
