I was thinking of going with a 3 inch intake, 2-inch reducer (increase air velocity and make it easier to route the duct) and then figuring out a solution for the hub.

Where would you initiate the 3" intake? Popping out the pieces outboard of the fangs without additional cutting is what I'm going for to keep the look clean….possibly would minimize the flow performance though? I was going to reduce the x-section area from the fender liner flange to the end of the duct nearest the rotor to increase the velocity. This is not going to be a quick turn around based on my current schedule but I'll show pics when I'm closer.

Putting the reducer at the fender liner would be a good place for it, there seems to be enough room up to that point for the 3" duct.
