Stillen's Brake Cooling Kit

Alright come on Stillen you guys said you were developing a new, unprecedented type of brake cooling for the 370z. You mentioned it in a post a few months ago... come on guys spill the beans. Just about the only other mention is on your description of the 370z front fascia and that it'll work with your new brake cooling kit.

Update?

It's being worked on.. the goal was to incorporate a design that would work with the stock 370Z, Nismo and the STILLEN Fascia.. the engineers have been working on the supercharger, but focus should shift back once that's wrapped up.

I'm sure the SC project has taken for more time away from your engineers that you had planned on, it's unfortunate but s**t happens. I'm looking forward to it and in the mean time I'm doing whatever I can to divert airflow into the wheel well area. Most tracks are okay but there are brake killer tracks like Monticello that like to set them on fire. The good news I guess is that Monticello is closing to HPDE which is too bad as it is a nice track.

just release for those of us with your fascia and I'm cool with it! ;)

Do your self a favor and save some money. Here is my DIY for brake cooling ducts.

I like the DIY but would prefer a pre-fab kit if possible. That being said, I'm sure the Stillen kit will require all kinds of cutting anyway. Rather than hooking to the fang vents, it sounds like they're trying to have a scoop that you position differently for each bumper (behind fang hole for the stock fascia, behind lateral vent for Stillen fascia, etc).

The main DIY step that's stopping me is the connection to the fang vents. Perhaps I can just make a scoop that attaches to the radiator support and just lines up nicely with the fang vents. Then the fascia still comes off easily.

Would really like this done before mid-October guys. Road America track day is fast approaching and that track feasts on brakes.
