I like the DIY but would prefer a pre-fab kit if possible. That being said, I'm sure the Stillen kit will require all kinds of cutting anyway. Rather than hooking to the fang vents, it sounds like they're trying to have a scoop that you position differently for each bumper (behind fang hole for the stock fascia, behind lateral vent for Stillen fascia, etc).
The main DIY step that's stopping me is the connection to the fang vents. Perhaps I can just make a scoop that attaches to the radiator support and just lines up nicely with the fang vents. Then the fascia still comes off easily. Would really like this done before mid-October guys. Road America track day is fast approaching and that track feasts on brakes.
