Burned out power steering pump or rack?

My pump was dying, not making the pressure. As well as spewing out of the res and the suction hose. Did you keep it slow on the way home? I

Did you keep it slow on the way home? I started to get on it and i think that is where my Pump with no fluid in it almost caught on fire. Im pretty happy so far with switching to electric I am changing the belt today to delete the pump entirely.
