Default Z FUCAs

Anyone try fitting stock 2023 Z Front Upper Control Arms into their 370Zs?
Heard they were forged and/or somehow better than the
previous OEM generation.
And seeing as how the aftermarket adjustables available
say they will fit 370Z, G37, Q50, Q60 and the Z.
Might be a good way to upgrade one a budget.
Any compatible suspension components that get swapped for aftermarket really.
If you aren't slammed and need the adjustment that is.
Not 100% they are the same geometry,
But they obviously fall within the aftermarket adjustable range.
Also not 100% there'd be a marked improvement.
Weight? Strength? Clearances? Built in geometry difference?
Hoping someone in the know can chime in

They might have more built in caster, but they aren't adjustable so there's no point in getting them, you're just setting money on fire.

Driving on the street you're unlikely to ever notice the difference, even if they were "forged"

If you wanted an actual difference you'd be calling SPL Parts

Thanks for the input guys.
I've got the Z1 Fucas and coilovers.
Lowered the car 1 inch, adjusted the Z1s to match my stock Fucas for the drive over to the alignment shop. And they didn't even have to adjust them!
So I'm thinking, if any 2023 Z owners already swapped theirs out.
They could sell them to me for cheap and I can tell you all how they compare

time's change, spl was the only option, now they're just the overpriced option imo.
there's no reason to be spending 1200$ on fucas when you can spend 499

they fixed the adjustability issues. now fully adjustable on car. They use a jam nut which is for sure crappier than the spl solution but it's not $700 crappier.

Like my Z1 coilpacks eh. That has been the problem with my misfiring since I put them on the car in 2021. With my new standalone and 6 EGT sensors it was easy to see what was going on. POS parts.

As others have said on this forum, SPL is in a class by itself when it comes to quality and functionality. I'd rather cut once/cry once and have the best of the best supporting the chassis. OP if you are ever in the position needing to purchase FUCA's in the future, go SPL and be done.

To make a blanket statement that all of Z1’s parts are junk is a stretch. It seems to be the trend to hate on their stuff around here because a few people have had bad experiences. I’ve had not a single issue with their CSC delete, anti-fuel starve kit, FUCAs.

HOWEVER, we definitely should be hating on them for basically copying others designs. I’m thinking Topgunz Rotrex kit, SPL arms, CJM fuel system components, etc.

Fair point to be sure. I have their two piece rotors, street driven car only, and haven't had one issue out of them. They perform as expected and I don't regret the purchase. In fact I would recommend them for a street car that doesn't see track conditions/driving.

Whatever. I can have my opinion on it. CSC delete, Talk to Jarblue. FUCA's are a copied part, buy the original.

Spoolers ego is directly correlated to how much money he's sunk into the car that spends more time in the shop than on the road/at the track.
Not surprising he doesn't like parts that are made to an accessible price point.

What you say means nothing. I am having fun and that is priceless. It is my car and I can do what I want. I built the car for me. Not you. Who cares how much I spent on it. It's just a
dang car.
