Will stiffer springs help me?

I want to lower my car or maintain current height, not raise.

Running pretty standard TE37 specs, what coilovers are you guys running with TEs and how low is your ride height without any rubbing?
What are your current ride height measurements?

I'm running a 20 x 9 +22 front with 255/35's. My ride height is 26-7/8" and 20 x 11 +25 rear with 315/30's and ride height of 27" and get no rubbing. At 26-1/2" ride height front and rear, I got rubbing over certain bumps on the front so I raised the ride height of the car approx 1/2"

I found the HKS Hipermax IV GT coilovers to have overly-soft spring rates (10k/9k). I considered going with the HKS Hipermax IV SP, which has rates of 14k/16k, but ended up choosing Powertrix Ultra-Lite coilovers (13k/11k rates with optional Swift springs). Having said that, you should consider just adding a bit more camber up front. Camber won't kill your front tires. That results from excessive toe.

If those are actually what the HKS comes with then the front spring rate might be an issue. IIRC most others are in the 13-15 range in front

Your front camber sucks, throw those ******* SPC arms in the trash. Get SPL or voodoo, crank it to -3 camber and 6 or 7 caster

Check the front bumper tab which is a common spot to rub - it may not be the top of the fender. That tab can be shaved or relocated.

Also, your rear toe seems double what is recommended.
Actually your front toe seems high as well. Camber does not kill tires - toe does.

Those are common specs that many have run without rubbing
I have 20x11 +15 w/ 275/30

It is not your wheels, it’s a combination of alignment being weak, springs being soft, and fender mods
JARblue and k67p67 like this.
