So I tried out the Powerstop track day pads at a Track Advantage event at VIR. Two days with four 30min sessions each day. A lot of track time (4hrs!).

So I tried out the Powerstop track day pads at a Track Advantage event at VIR. Two days with four 30min sessions each day. A lot of track time (4hrs!). Pads survived but they do dust like hell. I'll have to pull the wheels to see exactly how much pad is left. No issues for me other than the dust. Doesn't look like much rotor wear either.
I wonder how the track day "spec" pads are when cold and for rotor wear? I use the track day pads on the street and other than the noise and dust they are ok. |
