You doing the hard way. I've done 3 of these. 2 SPL's and a Z1 poly. Instead of drilling the inner rubber of the bushing. Use a deep 2" hole saw to cut the center out. Once you cut the outer shell in 2 places. Use a muffler cutting tool at the 2 cuts. I can pop a diff bushing out in 20 minutes. Once removed. Use a flapper wheel to clean up and smooth out the bore. Then coat the bore with anti-seize. The bore is not perfectly round. It's egg shaped from welding.
