Yes, this is my first time doing brakes, don't judge me too harshly. I'm replacing my pads with stoptech sport pads and I'm not entirely sure what to do with the shims. It seems the new pads come with some sort of shim to begin with, however I'm not entirely sure if I should be trying to put the old shims on top of the new pad shims or what. I attached an image of what the new pad and old shim looks like.
