I search the thread and I could not find anything on this. Have any of your replaced the sport rotors with a two piece rotor. If so, what kind have you found that would be the best?

LMAO, you did not search well enough. There are threads here and in the track section. Use Google and see what happens!

Literally just googled “370z two piece rotor” and there are more results than one ever dreamt of.

Be a baller and just get the RacingBrake 2 piece rotors. When you tell people that you have them. They know you are serious.

Do you think I did not do that already? My question was, if anyone has replaced them, what kind did you find to be the best.
I am ask the opinion of this group, not what I can just find on google

Honestly, I don't think you did... BUT there are only two manufacturers of two-piece rotors that I can recall (Racing Brake and Z1) and you can't go wrong with either. I haven't heard anyone complain about quality be it street or track driving i.e Rusty loves the RBs (probably not the price though), I have the Z1's and love them (but not the price).

Honestly I have. The other manufacturer is DBA and use the 5000 seriesDBAUSA | 5000 Series

That being the case, I was wanting a comparison of who had what and what they liked or what to stay away from

Honestly I have done the research. The other manufacturer is DBA using the 5000 series. What I was asking is to compare all of these together I'm who like what rotor and which ones to stay away from.

Honestly I have researched the rotors. Besides the two you have made mention of there is also the DBA that makes the 5000 series. What I was asking is who had what as a comparison what they like and what to stay away from.

My understanding is that DBAs are better if you track your car because they're less warp prone, I have Z1s and can't complain (except the price) but i dont track.

So are you saying they do not have as much bite when they are cold and need to be heated up before they really work?

No, i spoke with a DBA dealer (so he maybe somewhat biased) and he told me that DBAs perform better on track, ie have a less a chance of warping. Z1s stop on a dime on my daily driver, hot or cold.

Pads play a big part of this. Some pads need heat in them before they work the best. Others like the oem's work well when cold, but fade when they get hot.

The rotors mentioned in this thread all use different grades of cast iron alloys.
