I'm running the Carbotech X10/X8 pads with the RacingBrake rotors. I have more bit and power cold then the stock oem set up. But they do squeel coming up to a red light or stop sign.

Rusty, how do you like the Carbotech pads vs the EBC?

For track and some street. The Carbotech's. For street with some track. The YellowStuff. Both will dust more the the oem pads. The YellowStuff handles the rain better. Doesn't feel like you have to rebed the pads after a long drive in the rain.

I haven't used Hawk's brake pads on the Z yet but I have had them put on some of my previous cars. They have good bite and lasted longer than the OEM pads, street use. I am not sure how they would handle on the track but they do make ceramic pads if you want to look into that.
