Default Weird noise from front end

2015 370 nismo
Car currently has a GTM stage 2 super charger kit installed however I don't think noise is related

There is a odd clunk/clicking noise that occurs when from a dead stop and accelerating mildly to aggressive may get 1-3 clicking sounds ...also get the same sounds with aggressive braking ..seems to be coming from front passenger side ....I have also noticed that if turning during the acceleration or braking it seems louder .....I also have a steep drive way from my garage and while backing out car in neutral and only rolling from gravity sudden braking will cause the same noise.

To me it seems to be connected with the front end movement up and down however I can't make the noise from bouncing the car front end. And I can't see anything loose or visably "wearing/moving " from under neath the car. Doesn't seem to affect anything while driving ..no vibration or anything.

Has anyone had anything similar or any ideas of what it could be.

I have a similar issue but it only occurs after the car is warmed to >180. I'm still stumped but your issue does sound similar.

Mine will do it from cold start I leaning to it being suspension or something in the brake area ..both areas I know nothing about

Mine happens at lower speeds ...or I notice it more then ....I could make it happen at higher speed if I brake hard enough t make the front end dip down ...I could also accelerate hard and get it to lightly click at higher speed ....could also be the anti sway bar ends ....they only have 15k miles on the car tho

Check the axles. There is a TSB for the 350z, but Nissan never issued one for the 370z. It causes clicking from stops or low speeds. The fix is to re-grease the face of the axle that mounts to the hub on the rear with a special grease. It's a Molykote grease, with the name being Dow Corning Molykote M77 paste. It's not cheap for the size, but it's the only one you want to use.

Here is a link to the 350z fix. The 370 is basically the same, with the difference being the axle nut torque being different depending on which version of axle nut you have.

I will also say my brand new OEM hubs click under heavier loading, but I have never had any issues out of them from it. The old ones did it for awhile, then stopped. The new ones did it as well, now it's starting to fade away.

The noise is strange ... it's a clicking/creaking depending on how hard I accelerate or brake .. I have noticed it at higher speeds going over railroad tracked .. but the most is when turning and accelerating ... it's not so much the motion from forward or backward it seems to the up and down of the front end that I can replicate it

If it's something in vertical movement, one thing you can do is raise the car up and disconnect the sway bar. That way you can use a jack to raise and lower the entire suspension on one side through it's full range of motion. That might help you find any noises.

I'm also having a similar issue with the clanking metal sound from the front passenger side. It just started to get more frequent (unless I just really started to try and hear it) but either way I'm interested in what you find out this weekend, keep us posted!

Talking

Those of you that have the noise. Did any of you replace the front sway bar with an aftermarket one and swaybar links?

Sounds like sway bar end links or bushings.

They will have fun test driving your Z. Did you leave it on valet mode?

Btw - hope they get it fixed.
